Account Clerk (Lagos)

This role will be responsible for keeping the financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. Successful candidate must be to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts.


  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the organization
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Track tax payments and compile information for tax filling
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
  • Provide necessary assistance and support when needed
  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws


  • ND in Accounting
  • Proven accounting experience,
  • Familiarity with book keeping and basic accounting procedures
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be able to drive
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
  • Data entry and word processing skills
