Digital Sales Specialist

Our client is one of the hotel based in Lagos and they are currently seeking to hire a  Digital Sales Specialist. Such candidate would be responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing campaigns that will promote our client's  products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Build, plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy and manage the strategy
  • Generate sales lead through active online presence
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices
  • Manage and oversee various digital marketing channels
  • Prepare and manage the digital marketing budget
  • Oversee all the company's social media accounts
  • Suggest activities for improving the quality of online content
  • Track and measure SEO and Google Analytics metrics and provide reports
  • Build an inbound marketing plan
  • Oversee management of all digital channels (including updates, design, and user experience
  • Research and forecast future sales and performance trends
  • Lead, supervise and motivate members of the digital marketing team 
  • Research competitors and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices

Competency/Skill/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in marketing; at least 3 years of digital marketing experience in a hotel would be an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce
  • Knowledge of media editing software
  • Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to development and execute sales and marketing strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
