HR Generalist

This position will be responsible for applying business knowledge and Human Resources expertise in providing a wide range of HR support and advice to the organization. The right candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization by performing a range of HR related duties, offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, compensation and benefit, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Implement and administer employee policies
  • Maintain records of all staff details with respect to personal information, salary and benefits such as welfare, pension, medicals etc
  • Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
  • Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
  • Prepare termination and severance letters
  • Identify ways to improve policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned

 

Competency/Skill/Requirements

  • B.sc in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Professional certification is an added advantage
  • 5-7 years experience in HR
  • Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
  • Proper knowledge of HR best practices and current regulations
  • Detail oriented and sound judgment skill
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office applications, particularly Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
