Inventory Officer- Tech , lagos

our client is a  new technological  products sales company requiring an inventory officer. This role requires maintaining of the inventory of  purchased of equipment, gadgets while monitoring the purchases and recording the balance stock. 

Responsibilities

  • take inventory of  purchased orders  
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists 
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements
  • Assist in the development of specifications for equipment, materials, and services to be purchased
  • Reconcile or resolve  stock value discrepancies
  • Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices

Competency/Skill/Requirements

  • B.sc in business administration, accounting, or related fields
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience as an inventory  officer or related position
  • Outstanding customer service  skills
  • Complaint handling and conflict resolution skills
  • Good organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strong targets
  • The ability to manage own work load 
  • Ability to use initiative to work alone  with a team.
