Market Intelligence Manager (EXPATRIATE POSITION)- pharmaceutical industry

Our Client is a conglomerate consisting of pharmaceutical,  manufacturing plants situated in Nigeria, with branches all over the country.They are in urgent need of an experienced Market Intelligence Manager who will gather, analyze and distribute intelligence on products, market conditions, competitors and customers for the company’s business decision-making. Successful candidate will develop innovative solutions,provides actionable recommendations, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations. This persojn must have worked with any multinational research company and have ready to go expereince of market research and intelligence to help allign their products in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for generating market intelligence on all group products
  • Gather and evaluate relevant market and competitor information to review market position and determine threats.
  • help identify and assess growth opportunities for productts  in the nigerian the market.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth competitive   profile for each current and emerging product
  • Determine different potential  market segments
  • Create and updates comprehensive industry, competitor and customer models,market share, growth projections,trends, and market forces.
  • Provides market and competitive insights through presentations and reports to the executive management and various internal management teams to allow effective strategic and tactical decision-making and implementation.
  • Supplies the market and competitive intelligence component of strategic planning, and proactively makes recommendations to management concerning key intelligence items that require further consideration.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs and business challenges.
  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of designated markets and trends.

 

 

Competency/Skill/Requirements

  • B.sc/ M.sc in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field
  • must have worked at least 5 years in a multinational research environment
  • Not more than 7 to 10 years work experience in market research/intelligence position
  • Demonstrable experience tracking competitive landscape
  • Strong customer focus and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadline constraints.
  • Ability to network effectively at all levels and influence without direct management oversight.
  • Demonstrated strength in problem solving and analytics and capable of driving insight to action.
  • High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (in particular, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills) is essential.
  • Ability to articulate with strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent written communication abilities.
  • Able to operate within a team environment.
  • Not more than 40 years of age
