Job Description

The Finance Manager will be the head of the Finance department, he is responsible for leading the strategic and operational aspect of the organization’s he is responsible for tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.   ensures the company’s financial stability and sustainability by overseeing financial planning, managing risks, performing financial analysis, and shaping long-term strategies. Working closely with other senior executives,   plays a pivotal role in driving profitability, supporting strategic decisions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Finance manager reports directly to the group CEO and investors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial planning and budgeting.
  • handling cash management and treasury
  • Managing equity capital raise and debt management
  • Carrying out financial report and tax planning
  • AR/ CCC/ WC/ effective cash management
  • Carrying out audit and compliance
  • Carrying out audit and compliance
  • Carrying out credit control/ risk management
  • Investor/ stake holder management
  • Ability to use financial tools/ technology
  • Multi-market financial management
  • Ability to carry out forecasting and modelling

Education/ Experience:

  • Candidates should possess a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Professional certification is compulsory such as (ICAN, ACCA)
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior finance role, including at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record of managing financial operations in a logistics or Fintech industry.
  • Experience with Financial analysis, forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in financial management.

Knowledge/ Skills

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office

·         Ability to shape financial strategies to support long-term growth.

·         Expertise in identifying and mitigating financial risks.

·         Ability to make use of financial tools.

Ability to interpret complex financial data and develop actionable recommendation.
