We are looking for a dynamic and people-focused HR Recruitment Officer to join our team and support our internal HR operations and recruitment activities. The ideal candidate will handle recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration while ensuring compliance and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding.
- Lead and support recruitment initiatives, including headhunting for specialized roles and ensuring the successful placement of qualified candidates across departments.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: job posting, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checks, and offer management.
- Partner with hiring managers and clients to identify hiring needs and deliver timely staffing solutions.
- Maintain accurate HR and recruitment records, ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
- Support employee onboarding, documentation, and performance management activities.
- Assist with learning and development initiatives, training logistics.
- Handle employee relations, leave management, and HR correspondence with confidentiality.
- Prepare HR reports and contribute to process improvement within the HR and recruitment functions.
- Utilize various sourcing methods (online platforms, social media, referrals, agencies) to attract qualified candidates.
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment reports.
- Assist in contract preparation, renewals, and documentation.
- Provide general HR support including leave management, staff queries, and policy interpretation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of HR experience, preferably within a recruitment or consulting firm.
- Proven track record of success in recruitment and headhunting, with experience sourcing and attracting top talent for various organizational roles.
- Good understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR tools.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills.
- High sense of discretion, organization, and teamwork.
