Our client is a prominent Pan-African conglomerate with over 60 years of operational excellence across multiple sectors in more than 20 African countries.
Our client is seeking an experienced dynamic HR Business partner with strong stakeholder management skills, hands-on operational expertise, and the ability to engage effectively with both professional and unskilled workforce segments. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing a high-performance culture, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance, and supporting the division’s strategic growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with divisional leaders to align HR strategies with business priorities and operational goals.
• Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession management for key roles.
• Manage employee relations and ensure prompt resolution of workplace issues with fairness and emotional intelligence.
• Support and coach managers on performance management, engagement, and disciplinary processes.
• Drive learning and development initiatives to enhance workforce capability and improve productivity across both skilled and unskilled employee groups.
• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian labor laws, group HR policies, and ethical employment practices.
• Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and performance rewards in collaboration with the Group HR team.
• Implement initiatives that promote a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
• Provide HR analytics and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• 7–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the automotive, tire, manufacturing, or related industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian labor laws and HR operational best practices.
• Demonstrated experience managing both professional and unskilled workforce populations.
• Proven track record in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
• Exceptional communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate sensitive personnel matters with tact and diplomacy.
• Proficiency in HR systems, MS Office Suite, and HR analytics tools.
