JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled Utility Technician to ensure smooth operation of utility plants by attending to all breakdowns, performing planned maintenance, and minimizing downtime. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical expertise, with the ability to keep critical equipment running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

- Responsible to Utility Engineer for planned maintenance routines of all utility machine and equipment.
- Must know and complaint with operation and maintenance procedures as per operation manuals of all equipment.
- Keep record of breakdowns and maintenance works to reduce down time during the shift.
- Submit shift report for the condition of all utility machines.
- Keep record works done by contractors during shift and report same to Utility Engineer/ Engineering Manager.
- Suggest modification and alterations for reducing downtime and increasing performance of plant equipment.
- Keep record of power, diesel, gas, water etc. consumed during the shift and report same to Utility engineer/ Engineering Manager.
- Keep running, planned maintenance and breakdown record of all equipment in utility section and submit report after each shift.
- Keep record for consumables and all spares used in utility for maintenance and repairs.
- Responsible for all tools in the section and account for the issue tools any time.
- Responsible for maximum water generation for production, reduce wastage of water.
- Efficient running of wastewater treatment plant.
Qualifications & Skills

- Full mechanical knowledge of all equipment in utility and workshop plant.
- BSc / degree/ HDN/ ND in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering with minimum four years’ experience.
- Should be able to handle all breakdowns and maintenance related to workshop and mechanical for utilities.
- Should have good knowledge of power distribution and firefighting/ safety.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Meeting the production targets by ensuring upkeep for the utility equipment during shift.
- Meet set targets for water and power consumption for production.
